This is a one component oxidatively drying alkyd coating.
It is heat resistant up to 205 °C (401 °F) and can be applied on hot substrates up to 150 °C (302 °F).
Suitable for properly prepared carbon steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel and aluminium substrates.
Protective: Designed as corrosion protection for surfaces operating at elevated temperatures where long corrosion protection is desired.
colour : aluminium, light grey, red, white, bright aluminium (RAL 9006)
Jotun Thinner No. 23
This is a one component oxidatively drying alkyd coating.
It is heat resistant up to 250 °C. Can be used as an exterior aluminium finish usually within an alkyd system.
Can be used as primer, mid coat or finish coat in atmospheric environments.
Suitable for properly prepared carbon steel and aluminium substrates.
Exhaust pipes, process piping and engine parts.
Color : aluminium
Jotun Thinner No. 2
This is a one component oxidatively drying alkyd coating.
It is heat resistant up to 600 °C. Can be used as primer, mid coat or finish coat in atmospheric environments.
Suitable for properly prepared carbon steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel and aluminium substrates.
Protective: Designed as a heat resistant coating. Suitable for insulated and non insulated surfaces.
Recommended as finish coat for insulated surfaces, in systems with suitable primers.
Jotun Thinner No. 7
This is a one component oxidatively drying alkyd coating.
It is heat resistant up to 650 °C continuously, 720 °C intermittent.
Can be used as primer or finish coat in atmospheric environments.
Suitable for properly prepared carbon steel and stainless steel substrates. It can be applied on hot substrates up to 400 °C.
Protective: Specially designed for preventing corrosion under insulation (CUI).
Recommended at dry operating surface temperatures that can range from cryogenic to above 650 ºC (intermittent 720 ºC) .
including cyclic services in temperatures between -185 ºC and 540 ºC. Suitable for insulated and non insulated surfaces.
colour: grey, aluminium effect
For substrate temperatures below 100 °C use Jotun Thinner No. 7.
For substrate temperatures between 100 °C and 400 °C use Jotun Thinner No. 21.
